If your boss doesn't invite to his wedding, do you still get a gift?

The answer is simple . . if you really like this person, and you are happy for him and his new Bride, then giving a gift would be considered "very thoughtful" on your part. I'm sure he would be "pleasantly surprised" if you gave him a gift.





Here's two winning suggestions . . take them out for Sunday brunch about a week or two after they return from their honeymoon OR gift them a gift certificate to a nice restaurant, newlyweds love to go out for dinner.

Reply:I think it totally depends on the situation. If you are very close to your boss, or have worked there for a long time, a good bottle of wine would be a nice gesture. He may have chosen not to invite coworkers because of his budget or because he couldn't invite you without including the whole staff. If he is "just your boss" and you don't feel close to him, a card is fine.
