I think she means she needs a letter of invitation to join her boyfriend in Korea.
Reply:This question makes little sense.....

I have been invited to a Winter Solstice in Dallas, could this be change in my World?

I have a friend who has invited me to a Winter Solstice Celebration in Dallas Texas. I am not sure what to expect, but I do know it's a Pegan observerance. Can you tell me more about all this?

well i'm not really familiar with group observances of the holidays as i'm a solitary and practice alone.

but usually there's fires, dancing, and a fun times for a winter solstice celebration.

Some friends have invited me to their house for dinner. What can i take that is nice and yet not expensive?

I am a college student with a limited budget. Any ideas would be very helpful. The dinner is in about 2 hours and so it cant be something i have to cook because i dont have much time on my hands. thanks guys.

Maybe a nice botte of wine, you could probably get a nice red for under $20,,,
Reply:Any kind of wine or a fancy liquor is fine. Try the following:

White wine - any reisling (never bring white zinfandel)

Red Wine - shiraz yellowtail (inexpensive)

Champagne - i like any rose'

If your hosts don't drink then you can bring flowers or dessert.

These are the best gifts unless you know them well and think they would like something more specific. It depends in the relationship betw. u and the host.
Reply:You could take wine of course and I would recommend Champagne as an aperitif. Wine is always welcome but your host may have planned wine with each course. Champagne can be expensive but sparking Chardonnays can be delicious and less costly. Everyone likes bubbly and anyone who rubbishes sparkling Chardonnays from a student isn't worth worrying about. If you want to create a wow then how about Irish coffees for after. You made need some whiskey but you host might have some if you ring and say you'd like to do something for the dinner. Irish Whiskey is more difficult to source in half bottles but Scotch whisky will usually suffice. There's the old favorite dessert.

A really good quality Ice Cream dressed up with chocolate shavings or biscotti is cheap and always a winner, but the golden rule with any food is check with your host. If your host already has desserts then after dinner mints are something I love. REMEMBER, you've been asked because someone wants your company not because of what you might bring. You're at college and people understand you're not awash with cash. Relax and enjoy.
Reply:Vegetable/fruit tray
Reply:A bottle of cheap wine. Riunite Lambrusco is wonderful and about $8. for a nice size bottle.
Reply:just ask is there anything you should bring
Reply:Bud Lite works for me!!!
Reply:take a bottle of wine !!! You can even get a nice bottle for under 10 bucks...put some nice colored ribbons on it and voila...you have something nice in your hand to take along....
Reply:take either a good salad or dessert, safe bet!
Reply:take a apple or cherry pie.
Reply:Flowers - you can get a nice arrangment w/ fall colors from most supermarkets, for under $20.
Reply:Stop by the grocery store and get a cheese cake or dessert...or stop by the liquor store and grab a bottle of wine.

My girlfriend likes to close me up in the couch and invite Marines to come over and sit on it while she...?

does a strip tease. Should I complain? She says it just her way of supporting the troops.

Where do you live? I'm on my way.
Reply:If she was a Marine, it could be f***ed up sense of comradery, but if not, i'd complain or get rid of her.
Reply:Why do you allow her to close you up in the couch? I would have been complaining a long time ago. How about closeing her up in the couch and inviting some sexy women in to do lap dances for you. Turn about is fair play. :)
Reply:well as soon as you grow some balls, you would know what to do. Meanwhile, enjoy the show.

Does she do core of engineers?
Reply:While it is good to support the troops , she should consider that it is detrimental to the relationship she already has with you.
Reply:Yeah, she should at lest let you stand in the closet.
Reply:huh?
Reply:Why would you still want her? Id dump her
Reply:I'll answer you by using your name.... Huh?
Reply:If she is doing it to support the troops, then NO.....but you might want to move as soon as you see her coming, so you can watch also
Reply:What does she do for an encore ?

She's got a problem .
Reply:LMAO this has got to be one of dumbest questions I seen, but I can use the points for answering.
Reply:She has major problems, thanks for the two points. huuurraaa

Do you think that our male ancestors . when in Love . would invite the ladies to dine in the Jungle?

where is my jungle man...lol..
Do you think that our male ancestors . when in Love . would invite the ladies to dine in the Jungle?
And who would be cooking the dinner? You mean after hunting they would have a bar-be-cue and invite their lady love to dine in style sitting on large rocks dressed in tree barks with all sorts of animals roaming around?

Hmmmm...Sounds Deliciously Romantic!!!
Reply:No, by observing other animals. You can see that if both parties take interest. They would just mate. I reckon humans before civilization would just proceed to mate without dates.
Reply:no, they would stick on colourful plumages and dance around the ladies, cooing and roaring!
Reply:Oh!No...In those times had they taken any body to Jungle ,they would have become dinner to Tiger or Lion.
Reply:lol !!

"Jungle" should have been the most trendy name for a restaurant those days!!!
Reply:He would have taken food to her

Everyone that loses their account should start putting 'Phoenix' in front of their new account to signify rising from the ashes. Would be amazing to see how many end up as

Reply:I got home to find a (contact) invite from Mr. Blank and when I tried to reciprocate~ poof! (He's gone)... I think Yahoo is actually some type of Alien Landing..taking everyone away!

Reply:tis a shame that our dearly departed has left this Y!world so soon.

lights a cigarette and tosses the match into a freshly dug Y!Grave. Dearly beloved we are gathered here today for lack of anything better to do to poke and prod the flacid corpse of dingleburys umpteenth account. Man has but a short time upon this forum and his life is filled with violation notices. We know that sister dinglebury has gone to a place were she can chat without fear of censure through the window of her Polcrapski Fiat. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, blah de blah, amen
Reply:Whoa, she commits Y!A-Suicide to escape Sea World? You go girl!
Reply:I am having a memorial in her honor at my house tonight.

Calling hours are from 9 pm - 11 pm.

We have been invited to my dads 60 th birthday party?

Its an all day thing, which includes a walk in the park, tea at a cafe and night-time party. What outfit could I wear to suit all day, instead of having to get changed. There will be a lot of well to do people there as he is a doc.
We have been invited to my dads 60 th birthday party?
I would wear a comfortable trouser suit with a lil party top underneath, so when evening comes, whip off your jacket and a change of shoes maybe put jewellery in your handbag for a different look.

Have a nice time!=]

x
Reply:a really gorgeous knee high chiffon dress :)
Reply:skinny jeans, flat ballets and a nice shirt is an nice and confortable outfit
Reply:You could try layering, like some leggings underneath a long dressy top/short dress, and maybe a sweater or shrug for the evening. If that sounds too casual for the event/crowd, I'd just wear a long dress and bring a sweater for later.
Reply:A smart trousers and suit outfit will allow you to go for a walk and party at the same time. It will also allow you to throw on a warm short coat when you go out in the cold.
Reply:spandex all spandex
