What are all the necessities for wedding invites?

What are all the necessities for wedding invites?
In order of importance ....

The main thing is the invitation itself. Obviously you can't do without it.

The vast majority of people also order RSVP cards (or response cards). They come with a pre-addressed return envelope. You should put a stamp on it for your guests. The RSVP card can contain menu choices. Make sure to include the reply-by date.

Reception cards are useful in case your reception is not at the same location as your ceremony and it would be too much information to fit on the invitation.

Direction cards or map cards (pretty self explanatory).

Thank you cards. Usually, you can purchase thank you cards that match your invitation.

Further stationery (budget depending of course): menu cards, place cards, save the dates
Reply:There should be 2 invites for those who will be attending church and reception

then 1 for those attending for the reception only

Directions to the church and hall

Time of ceremony and reception

RSVP is so that you do not prepare more than necessary, gives you an idea how many will attend in order that you can book the correct size of the hall

Whether you are doing a buffet or sit down meal

Who is vegetarian

PS: Be careful in case some people are allergic to nuts

ENJOY your BIG DAY
