this guy really makes me nervous cause I dont really know him that well outside of work...I really think we could be a good couple and I have caught him looking at me a few times....

What have you got to loose. Be confident and give him your number. Most of the time guys love when a girl takes a little initiative....Or you can start a conversation with him this way you will know if there is a connection between you and him. And sometimes guys are shy too. have fun...
Reply:Just tell him there is this party you are going to and ask him if he would like to join you because you don't like to go to a party alone. That makes it a little less forward. If he wants your phone number, he will ask for it. If he is going to pick you up he will probably want your address and phone number.
Reply:Seems to me the best thing to do would be to strike up friendly conversation with him first. See if you are getting the right vibes, and if things look smooth, just casually mention the party and ask if he would like to join.


Also, at the end of the conversation, tell him it was great chatting up, maybe we should exchange numbers.
