Can i get drafted or invited to the NFL combine while playing division 2 or 3?

i don't go to a high school with football and I'm very good at football though.The only chance I have at playing football is playing at a division 2 or 3 school.

yes, westbrook came from a division 2 college. Jerry rice came from a division 2 college. Go there get yourself noticed, and try to transfer to a div 1 school. Or if your that good go to a div 1 school and walk-on. You never know what can happen then.
Reply:It would be a long hard road because you would have to first walk-on in college and then impress enough to get playing time. Then you would have to play well enough to get invited to the combine. You can do it if you have the talent and the drive. The most important thing is that you don't give up because if you give up the answer to your question will always be no. As long as you keep trying it is at least a maybe.
Reply:Make sure you have some one video tape your games, so will have highlight tape. Go to football camps sponsored by NFL players (Bob Sanders etc). Get the exposure, get connected with coach or trainer that has contacts in the NFL. Other than being good, you gotta let people know who you are. Even if you don't get drafted or invited to the combine, contact a team directly (director of player personnel) and see if you can get a try out. Thats the great thing about american football, if you've got the desire, will and talent, you have the freedom to try out. I suggest you do, becuase if you don't, you never want to say to yourself, woulda, shoulda, coulda......even if you don't make it, you gave it a shot. Good Luck.
Reply:well you would have to play some sort of college ball to get invited to an NFL combine, you cant just come out of h.s. unless you are a highly regarded talent in h.s., but most guys play in college to get scouted, but even if you play division 2 college ball you can still get into the NFL it happened to jerry rice before he was JERRY RICE, he went to Miss. Valley State a division 2 school.
Reply:So you don;t play high school football, but you're good at football so you think you could make a division 2 or 3 college program? Think again. You'd probably have a hard time making a junior college JV program. Get real.
Reply:how do you know if you're good at football if your high school doesn't play it? a pickup game is different in many ways from an actual game.

Reply:I say try to get into a div 1 school like UNL (Nebraska). They have an amazing walk-on program.
