Reply:A few years back I had a party and invited everyone that I knew...well they invited everyone that they knew and it turned into me not knowing half the people in my house! They all brought alcohol and everything. I won't ever do that again...intimate with friends is the way to go.
Reply:It depends on what kind of party you want to have. If you want it to be more loud, crazy, and full of excitement, then you may want to invite a lot of people, but if you want it to be more intimate and want to spend more time with the people you invited, you probably want only close friends. Also remember the more people you invite, the more problems may arise. If you only have close friends you have more control over what and who may show up at your party, in terms of drugs, etc, and uninvited guests.

If I were you I would sit down and make a pro and con list for each option. The option with the most pros and the least cons wins.
