My 4 year old neice invited me to a tea party tomorrow afternoon at 3. What would be appropriate attire?

I want to make a good impression because she said all of the regulars are going to be there and I am kind of hoping I will be invited back, so what should I wear?

Dress as if you were having High Tea with the Queen! The "regulars" are most likely a menagerie of stuffed animals and dolls!
Reply:Play along, get dressed up like you're going to a fancy party, wear a big pretty hat and lots of sparkly jewelry --- over-do everything!!


Those are some of my best memories from my childhood --- my formal tea parties and the guests who attended! It has always been a big deal for most of the girls in my family. I think it was the tea parties when I was little that made the the fantastic hostess and party planner that I am now.

Uncle- Wear nice khaki or seersucker shorts or pants with a nice polo in a spring blue or pink . .


Definetly bring a special little prize besides the main present you are bringing there. Like a little tiara you send over the day before.

BUT


The main thing is = take her a little ***house warming gift*** like a small plant (Wal Mart- if money is tight- it is the *thought* really) ===something she can keep as a reminder of her fun time with you.
