Im supposed to have this party & invite people at work, but....?

they pressured me to have this stupid thing. Poeple are saying things like,"At like, 4 in the morning when we get hungry again after drinking so much, we can order food." I mean people are thinking its a free for all. Im married and my husbad and I are already ify about it. How do i tell people i want people to leave by 2am?? NICELY??

Okay. You can be honest and probably pi$$ them off. (Because people take everything personally) Or you can tell them that you have things to do early the next morning so you are going to have to pull the plug on the party at 2 am. Or you can just get everyone soooo drunk that they all pass out by midnight. Whatever you choose to do. I wish you all the luck. Oh also. You can just call the whole thing off because you or your husband is getting sick. I think I hear him coughing and sneezing right now. Good Luck!
Reply:You have to make it clear that there is a time when it's LAST CALL and time to go home.


Also, they need to know its bring your own boose and bring a snack so you don't get stuck with the expenses.

Reply:when you send out the invitation, put the time of it. if you didn't do that I would just ell them it over at 2, or Else you can say it continue at another co-worker house.
Reply:make up invitations to your guests and simply say this is the start time and this is the ending time and stick with it afterall they dont have to come
Reply:Put the hours and type of party on an invitation. Usually you end up doing something anyway with directions on it! So, just set the expectations right up front. And I promise you I will be gone by no later than 3:15 A.M. Maybe 4 If we all like one another!
