They are like large umbrella that keep the rain off you.
Reply:Little snacks for posh people who speak French.
Reply:Do you have to take them? Or are they just telling you what they will have there? They are snack/party foods usually that have something laying on top of something else. Cracker/cheese. Hot dip on bread, stuffed mushrooms...
One hand, no fork required food. Have fun.
If you have to make something just search party food, something will strike you. Cheeseball and crackers work too if you don't cook.
Reply:Delicate little starter thingies. Crackers with smoked salmon and things like that.
Reply:those tiny, little cocktail snacks? like, a tiny triangle of bread w fois gras, cheese and an olive o a tooth pick
Reply:Little snacky bits before the meal....
Reply:Canapes are a specific type of hors d'oeuvres. Basically they are 1-2 bites and have to be served on bread/toast. If it's not on bread of some sort, it is not a canape.
Reply:Did you mean Christmas party.
I know I'm a bit anal but with the liberal attempt to take away Christmas I'm a bit touchy.
Sorry but don't know what a Canapes is.
